Ok, so as my second genuine post, I'd like to announce that I've reunited with my family, and it feels so good. For the past two years, I've been living between Atlanta and Charlotte, driving down to work at Sacred Heart tattoo in GA, and coming back up to Gastonia, NC to be with my wife and kids for my weekend. I've now found a small, lovely shop in Hickory, NC, a mere 45 minutes from my house, and it is here that I've set up shop, for the time being at least. While I'll miss my friends I've made with the Sacred Heart Familia, my family comes first, and the reputation will come to me, if it takes a while.
The shop and business have slowed down rather inexplicably. While it's expected to happen every year, it's a bit early yet, and it might not be so bad if I was caught up on my bills in the first place. Suffice to say, if you'e in the area and have been thinking about getting a tattoo, or getting one started, now is the perfect time! Baby needs a new pair of shoes!
Also Dragon Con is looming ever close. The September issue of Dragon Magazine, and Dungeon Magazine will have a full page add for Quicksylver Productions in it detailing our showcase there. It's my work in print, ya'll! I can't wait to see it. What's more, it will be a super-sized issue, as it's the last printed issue. After this, they go all web, so be sure not to miss it.
That is all. Keep your eyes on the stars, keep the engines cool, keep flying.

'Sbeen a long time
It's been a long while since I posted some art on here, and I NEVER make journal posts, as much as I'd like to make more. Here I am on a day off with a decent backlog of drawing and sketches upload, and a dvr full of stuff to watch. So while my wife figures out how to stream the season finale' of Walking Dead, I'm gonna use the wifi to get some stuff up on here and Facebook.
Commissions
The summer's running along at an amazing clip. The kids will be back in school in no time at this rate.
I've started on another commissioned book cover for Quicksylver Publications. Things are running well with that, and I'm seeing improvement in my coloring, which I'm happy about, of course. There will be a posting of it here soon as it's done.
At the same time, I'm trying to build up a portfolio to send to a local gallery and I've managed to set up a few travel plans to take care of some tattoo clients out of state.
I'm still keeping open slots for commissioned comics sketches/quickies. Request here and receive it in your very own mailbo

A word on original characters: The more info or picture reference you provide me, the more likely it will look like what you want it to, but I can't guarantee it will be exactly what you have in your head. Rest assure
Yet another year
Here I am again for what's becoming my yearly post here to my DA journal. Really wich I could get around to posting to this more often, but there you are. By all means, if any one reads this, lemme know.
So, this year in the works: I'll finally be getting off my kiester(?) and creating my comic book which I've dreamt andplanned for for quite a few years. In preparation I've designed, written and drawn a short, 10-page comic ass a means of determining whether or not I can actually do a comic, before I go destryoing my comic idea that I hold so dear. It's my baby, you see, and like all fathers I want to see it grow up to be the best it can. Th
